The Atrium at Navesink River Recognized as 2025 ‘Best Nursing Home’ by U.S. News & World Report
November 20, 2024The Atrium at Navesink Harbor has been recognized as a 2025 “Best Nursing Home” for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care by U.S. News & World Report. This premiere waterfront Life Plan Community is affiliated with Springpoint and offers a continuum of care that includes independent living, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing.
This evaluation rated nearly 15,000 nursing homes nationwide. The latest edition recognizes fewer than 20% of those facilities as “Best Nursing Homes” in “Short-Term Rehabilitation,” “Long-Term Care,” or both.
There are currently 346 nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities throughout the state of New Jersey. Of these, 46 received an overall rating of 5 out of 5. The Atrium is among a distinguished group to receive such a high overall performance rating.
To calculate these ratings, U.S. News evaluated each facility’s performance using a variety of quality measures obtained from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This ratings methodology factors in several aspects of quality including resident care, safety, medical outcomes, data on nurse staffing levels, consistency and retention, and success in preventing ER visits.
This independent survey of The Atrium’s healthcare program reaffirms the work excellence of the community’s clinical staff and rehabilitation team. Six other Springpoint communities –Meadow Lakes, The Moorings at Lewes, The Oaks at Denville, Stonebridge at Montgomery, Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare, and Winchester Gardens – were also recognized in this 2025 evaluation.
