Things to Do in Red Bank to Get You in the Holiday Spirit
November 6, 2020While this year has brought its challenges, there are certainly matters to celebrate – and the holiday season is the perfect time to focus on the joy, health and happiness in our lives. Even though social distancing may be the norm, there are ways for you to take part in the holiday spirit and celebrate safely. At The Atrium at Navesink Harbor, we’ve pulled together a list of how to enjoy the holidays in Red Bank.
Activities to Help You Enjoy the Holidays
Attend the 28th Annual Town Lighting. Kick off the holiday season by participating in this annual Red Bank tradition! COVID rules will be applied to allow town visitors to safely enjoy the most wonderful time of the year. The holiday lights will be lit in the early evening, and small businesses will be joining together to help families and friends to take in and experience the stunning display.
Decorate Your Home. There’s nothing quite like bringing the holiday spirit into your own home. Whether they are decorations you’ve used for years or brand-new décor you’ve recently purchased, turn on some music and take pleasure in decorating your home for the holidays.
Holiday Harmonies. The streets of Red Bank will be filled with the harmonies of the season every Saturday and Sunday from November 28 to December 20 in the early afternoons. Participants include traditional carolers, choirs, brass bands, handbells, rock, folk and jazz musicians.
Enjoy a Holiday Movie Marathon. Curling up with a cup of hot chocolate and watching holiday movies is a time-honored tradition. Whether your favorite movie is A Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th Street or even The Polar Express, be sure to set some time aside this holiday season to relax and appreciate the many movies out there that help to put you in the spirit.
Bake Seasonal Goods. The holiday season is the time of the year for you to indulge in tasty treats. It doesn’t matter if you’re a baking novice or consider baking as one of your favorite hobbies – there are plenty of recipes for you to try for yourself.
