Investing in Our Employees with the CNA Training Program
June 15, 2023Springpoint is Paying for Employees to Complete Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program
Springpoint’s innovative, no-cost Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program allows Springpoint employees to advance their career growth with guaranteed job placement after graduation.
The CNA training program is funded by The Springpoint Foundation and The Grunin Foundation. Employees are paid for the training, and the program will also cover costs for uniforms, CPR training, books, and the certification exam. Students will be able to finish the program, take the CNA exam, and can get credentialed as a CNA in just a few months, with guaranteed job placement at a Springpoint community.
Graduates of the CNA training program can choose from four specialties to work in; skilled nursing, assisted living, clinic, and home care. Employees will attend an established CNA program outside of Springpoint to ensure flexibility for the employee and community. Several Springpoint employees have completed the program and currently work as CNAs.
Rashon Turner, Adam Canterbury, and Karla Lopez Gonzalez recently completed the CNA training program. Before entering the program, Rashon was a dietary aide, Adam was a porter and assistant driver, and Karla was a member of the wait staff. All three currently work as CNAs in The Atrium at Navesink Harbor Healthcare Center.
Springpoint is committed to providing employees with continued education and professional development opportunities. Individuals interested in participating in the CNA Training program should contact their local Human Resources representative for more details.
