LuAnn’s journey within our community spans over three decades, making her return an eagerly anticipated homecoming for residents, team members, and family members. In this blog post, we sit down with LuAnn to delve into her remarkable career journey, her vision for The Atrium at Navesink Harbor’s future, and the exciting community initiatives she’s poised to introduce.

The Journey Back Home

LuAnn’s journey at The Atrium began in 1990 when she joined as a staff nurse. Over the years, she steadily climbed the ranks through various nursing positions, showcasing her dedication and passion for senior care. Her trajectory led her to eventually become the Director of Health Services at The Atrium at Navesink Harbor. While never leaving the Springpoint family, she has explored other communities, but LuAnn’s heart remained with The Atrium at Navesink Harbor community, ultimately leading to her returning as our Executive Director.

Luann’s excitement to return to the community can be felt by anyone who encounters her. The deep connections forged with residents and staff over the years make it feel like a true homecoming. Additionally, The Atrium at Navesink Harbor’s unparalleled waterfront location and luxurious amenities present endless opportunities to enhance the resident experience and lead in the industry.

LuAnn believes the community offers a unique resort-like atmosphere and she’s committed to amplifying this ambiance. Plans are underway to upgrade the main dining room with a lighter, coastal approach, aiming to create a sense of relaxation and luxury for our residents.

In addition to the exciting dining room upgrades and advanced technology, LuAnn is particularly excited about rejuvenating the outdoor patio, garden, and dock areas. While these are exciting upgrades, LuAnn is also happy to incorporate and continue to promote outings like fishing trips and sunset cruises in the vibrant Red Bank community.
